THE latest models on the leisure vehicle scene will roll into Birmingham next month for the 2016 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show.
More than 350 exhibitors from the UK and Europe descend on the city’s National Exhibition Centre for the annual extravaganza from February 23-28.
And leading the way are top names like Auto-Sleepers, Rolling Homes, Adria and Auto-Trail.
In fact Auto-Sleepers has chosen the show to launch the first of three different and highly-specified Corinium motorhomes with AL-KO chassis and 2.35m internal width.
Rolling Homes, meanwhile, is delivering its new Volkswagen Transporter-based Classic, inspired by the original split-screen VW of the ‘60s.
The model shown at the NEC will be a two-tone red and white version with luxury leather and maple panels. Built in limited numbers, it is the highest spec camper ever produced by the firm.
Roller Team will showcase its first ever A-Class motorhome to the UK.
The Pegaso 740 is a four-berth, high-spec motorhome combining practicality with additional living space and a luxurious height-adjustable rear island bed.
The launch of a new luxury liner, the Sun i, on the Lowdhams stand, is manufacturer Knaus’s latest exhibit at the show and features a 32-inch LED TV, a glass shower, electrically-extendable floor compartment and lighting which can be controlled by smartphone or tablet.
Knaus also brings to the public its all-new design Star Class caravan range, made specifically for the UK and boasting fire-retardant upholstery, smoke alarms, UK-mains electrics and UK road-legal lighting.
Two newcomers will be heralded by Auto-Trail in the shape of an addition to the Imala motorhome range, the 730, which comes with an island bed – a feature usually found in larger models – and a new van conversion called V-Line SE, a high-spec compact leisure vehicle.
As for maximising storage, IH Motorhomes introduces their new 630 FB fixed rear bed model in which the front cab area converts into a small dining area.
And Adria presents the new Compact SLS, a version of the SL Compact with its overall motorhome length of under six metres.
Elsewhere on the stand will be the Matrix M 670 SL Silver Collection, a special edition motorhome to celebrate Adria’s 50 years of producing leisure vehicles.
Show tickets cost from £8 for adults (£7 seniors) and the website for info is http://www.caravancampingmotorhomeshow.co.uk
