Jeep is extending its popular Cherokee range of 4×4 vehicles with a luxury new Overland version.
The new flagship model, which made its International debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, comes with a 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbodiesel engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission in either Active Drive I or Active Drive II 4WD.
The 200bhp powerplant gives the car a 0-62mph time of 8.5 seconds and top speed of 127mph while delivering a potential fuel economy of 50.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 149g/km.
Features include a polished front grille, new body-coloured door cladding, front and rear bumpers and wheel arches, 18-inch aluminium wheels, HID bi-xenon headlamps plus an Overland tailgate badge.
Colours available are Deep Cherry Red, Bright White, Brilliant Black and Billet Silver and kit includes the likes of powered and ventilated leather seats, a new steering wheel with wood insert, anodized silver bezels and vent surrounds and Berber floor mats.
Entertainment comes courtesy of an Alpine Premium sound system, while there’s also a Uconnect radio with 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and GPS navigation.
You also get stuff like a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and ParkSense front and rear reverse assist system and prices are from £38,745.
